INDIANAPOLIS – Oscar Gonzalez hit a tiebreaking two-run home run and the Clippers held on to beat the Indianapolis Indians, 7-6, in a series finale Sunday afternoon.
Miguel Andujar had tied the score at 5-5 in the seventh inning with a run-scoring single before Gonzalex delivered the game-winning homer off Duana Underwood (0-1).
Jhon Romero (3-3) got the win for the Clippers, who went 3-and-4 in the seven-game series at Victory Field.
Randy Labaut pitched the final two innings for his first save of the season.
