COLUMBUS – Bo Naylor and Oscar Gonzalez acciunted for all of the Clippers’ scoring as Columbus beat the Indianapolis Indians, 6-5, Tuesday in the opening game of a six-game series at Huntington Park.
Naylor’s RBI single to left in the sixth inning broke a 4-4 tie and Tim Herrin (3-1) pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings in relief for the win.
Naylor drove in three runs and Oscar Gonzalez contributed three more RBI, two of them on a tiebreaking home run in the fifth inning, which brought Naylor around to score from second base.
