Q’Juantez Poole, 20, whose address was given as a townhome on Division Street in Dublin, was charged with murder in the death of  Dontey Wiley, 26, who was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 5800 block of Arborwood Court just after 12:30 a.m. and died later at Riverside Methodist Hospital, said Sgt. James Marblehead of the Homicide Unit.

Quintez Poole, 24, was also wounded during the shooting and was driven by a relative to Dublin Methodist Hospital where Marable says he is expected to survive.

A 23-year-old woman, whose name is being withheld, suffered a grazing gunshot wound and was treated at the scene, Marable said.

All three victims were stuck during an exchange of gunfire. During an interview with detectives, Marable says Q’Juantez Poole admitted to shooting at Wiley.

It was not immediately clear who else may have fired shots during the incident.

This is the 123rd homicide in 2020. A death from earlier in the year that was initially thought to be a homicide was ultimately ruled a suicide.
