COLUMBUS – A 10-year-old boy was in stable condition at Nationwide Children’s Hospital early Wednesday morning after being shot inside his bedroom when someone fired multiple gunshots into his Northeast Side home just after midnight, police said.
The boy was shot in the abdomen when someone in a vehicle fired shots into the home on Hanna Drive just after midnight. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but was later upgraded.
The child was one of four people shot in separate incidents Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, including an 18-year-old man who was in critical condition after being shot in the 2700 block of Tennyson Boulevard just before 4:30 p.m. and a 37-year-old woman who walked into grant Medical Center with a gunshot wound at about 5:00 Wednesday morning.
