COLUMBUS – A 63-year-old Columbus man who has been accused of exposing himself to several women and children is back in jail.
Mark Brown, of Columbus was arrested Wednesday on charges of public indecency and gross sexual imposition after authorities say he exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl and several women inside stores on Olentangy River Road in Clinton Township last week, Franklin County Sheriff Dallas Baldwin said.

A woman told investigators she was shopping with her 11-year-old daughter at Old Navy store located at 1731 Olentangy River Road when a man approached and began to look at women’s sandals, then exposed himself to the child, Baldwin said.
The suspect approached them a second time a few minutes later in the women’s swimsuit area and again exposed himself and, at one point during the incident, may have come in physical contact with child, Baldwin said.
Brown allegedly left the Old Navy store and entered the Target at 1717 Olentangy River Road where Baldwin says he attempted to expose himself to several different women.
Brown is currently in custody at the Franklin County Jail.
Brown was arrested in 2019 by Upper Arlington police and charged in a similar incident in involving a 16-year-old victim at the Half Price Books located at 1375 West Lane Avenue, Baldwin said.
He pleaded guilty to that charge and placed on probation.
