COLUMBUS – Police have arrested one of the suspects in Wednesday’s shooting incident at Polaris Fashion Place.

Arshad Lawson was charged with felonious assault in Delaware County Common Pleas Court and is currently in custody at the Franklin County Jail, according to Sgt. James Jardine of the Columbus police Felony Assault Unit.
Police say Lawson, 20, was among a group of people seen arguing inside the mall just after 3:15 p.m. Wednesday when someone fired shots, prompting police to evacuate the mall and search the building.
Witnesses told police the suspects were arguing in a breezeway when one of them brandished a handgun and fired multiple rounds.
No injuries were reported.
