COLUMBUS – Columbus police have arrested one man and are searching for a second suspect in connection with the murder of a City of Columbus employee last month.
Lonnie Davis, 29, was arrested Thursday afternoon in a hotel on E. Dublin-Granville Road by SWAT officers and charged with murder and felonious assault in the fatal shooting of Tearika Cradle on July 18, Sgt. Edward Powell III of the Homicide Unit said.
An arrest warrant was also filed for Ivan Netter, 24, in connection with the incident.
Cradle, 45, was found shot to death inside a home in the 2000 block of Jane Avenue.
