CLEVELAND – Trey Mancini hit a grand slam and drove in another run as the Houston Astros beat the Guardians 9-3 Friday night.
Mancini’s homer off Hunter Gaddis (0-1) helped the AL West-leading Astros build a 6-1 lead.
Amed Rosario hit a solo homer off starter Framber Valdez (10-4) for Cleveland, who dropped back to a tie with the White Sox for second place in the Central Division, two games behind Minnesota.
