LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Chuckie Robinson’s walkoff RBI single in the 10th inning gave the Louisville Bats a 6-5 victory over the Clippers in Sunday’s finale of a six-game series at Louisville Slugger Field.
Michael Siani’s ground ball single brought automatic runner Jason Vosier home with the tying run before Siani stole second and scored the game-winner when Robinson smacked a liner to center field off Jhon Romero (2-2).
Brayan Rocchio had given the Clippers a one-run lead in the top of the inning with an RBI single.
Jhonkensey Noel’s two-run homer in the second inning helped Columbus take a 4-1 lead but the Bats fought back to tie the score on Alejo Lopz’s bases-loaded single in the fourth.
Ryan Nutoff (1-1) got the win for Louisville.
The Clippers return home to open a six-game series with St. Paul at Huntington Park on Tuesday.
