LOUISVILLE – The Louisville Bats hit three home runs during a six-run offensive outburst in the fifth inning of an 8-2 win over the Clippers at Louisville Slugger Field Thursday night.
Matt McLain delivered the big blow, a three-run homer off losing pitcher Hunter Gaddis (0-2).
Brandon Williamson (2-4) got the win for Louisville.
The Clippers’ only runs came on an RBI single by Oscar Gonzalez in the eighth inning.
