COLUMBUS – Columbus police detectives searching for a man who had been missing for several days found a body outside a Far West Side business Tuesday.
UPDATE 1/26/23 9:11a.m.: The victim in this incident has been identified as Hajid Jordan, 44, who was reported missing from Maryland. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound, police said.
Missing Persons Unit detectives searching for the man, who was last seen at least a week ago, found an unidentified man on the lot of a business in the 600 block of Hilliard-Rome Road just after 1:40 p.m., police said.
Due to injuries the man had suffered, Homicide Unit detectives were notified and are currently investigating the death.
