COLUMBUS – The Clippers beat the Omaha Storm Chasers, 10-2, in the opening game of a six-game series at Huntington Park Tuesday night.
Columbus broke the game open in the fifth inning, scoring seven runs off Omaha starter Jonathan Bowlan (2-2).
Jaerad Eickhoff (1-2) got the win for Columbus.
