LOUISVILLE – The Clippers bounced back from a lopsided loss the night before to deliver an 11-6 beatdown to the Louisville Bats Thursday.
George Valera, Micah Pries and Sandy Leon hit home runs for Columbus and Bryan Lavastida drove in four runs on three hits, including a bases-clearing double on the seventh inning.
Jason Billous (2-2) was the beneficiary of the offensive outburst, pitching the final two innings to get the win.
