COLUMBUS – The Clippers outlasted Toledo Wednesday night at Huntington Park, beating the Mud Hens, 11-10, on a walkoff single by Oscar Gonzalez in the 10th inning.
Jhonkensy Noel’s grand slam off Matt Wisletr (4-1) in the ninth inning tied the game at 9-all and sent it to the extra frame, where Andre Lipicius drove in a run with a ground out to Noel at first base to give the Mud Hens the lead.
Daniel Schneemann drove in the tying run with a single in the bottom of the inning and scored the game-winner off Gonzalez’ base hit.
Jason Bilous (1-2) pitched the ninth and 10th innings to pick up the win.
