COLUMBUS – Micah Pries drove in two runs and Columbus pitchers held Iowa to three hits in a 4-0 shutout win at Huntington Park Saturday.
Oscar Gonzalez put the Clippers on the board with a solo home run in the fourth inning and Jhonkensy Noel knocked in a run with a single in the sixth and scored on Pries’ sharply-hit liner to right.
Daniel Norris (4-4) got the win in relief as four Clippers pitchers combined to strike out 13 hitters while giving up only one walk.
