COLUMBUS – Multi-run homers by Chris Roller and Jonathan Rodríguez powered the Clippers to a 6-3 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers Saturday night at Huntington Park.

Roller hit a three-run home run off Storm Chasers starter Anthony Veneziano (4-1) in the third inning and Rodríguez added a two-run shot in the sixth.

Phillip Diehl (3-1) pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief for the win.

Tyler Gentry hit a solo home run off Clippers starter Joey Cantillo, who struck out six hitters while giving up two runs in four innings but failed to get a decision.

The victory snapped a three-game losing streak and the Clippers have a chance to earn a split of the six-game series with a win in the final game Sunday afternoon.
