INDIANAPOLIS – Richie Palacios hit a home run, scored a tiebreaking run on multiple errors and added an RBI base hit as the Clippers went on to the Indianapolis Indians, 7-4, at Victory Field Friday.

Palacios hit a solo homer in the first to put Columbus on the board, then, with the score tied at 1-all, led off the third inning with a single and scored on an errant pickoff throw by pitcher Osvaldo Bido and a second miscue by right fielder Chavez Young on the same play.

Palacios’ single in the fourth gave the Clippers a 5-2 lead.

Toukie Toussaint (1-0) and three other relievers kept the Indians in check as Columbus won its third straight.
