COLUMBUS – The DeSales Stallions will compete for a state high school football championship At Fortress Obetz Saturday.

DeSales (9-1) advanced to the Division III final against Chardon (11-0) by beating Kettering Alter in a semifinal.

The championship game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on Spectrum News 1.

The two competing schools in each game are provided with 750 tickets based on attendance limitations currently set by the Ohio Department of Health’s Sports Order due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which are at 15 percent of the permanent seating capacity but no more than 1,500 spectators per game with no general admission public tickets sales.

Pickerington Central lost to Cinccinnati St. Xavier, 44-3, in the Division I final last Friday.
