COLUMBUS –Mayor Andrew Ginther Monday officially presented a 2022 General Fund budget to Columbus City Council Monday.
The largest operating budget in the city’s history, totaling more than $1 billion, includes more than $660 million for safety services, including additional police and fire recruit classes.
City Council will hold public hearings and is expected to approve its version of the budget in early 2022.
