Graeter’s goes vegan

Sunny 95Graeter’s Ice Cream announced that its first-ever line of vegan frozen desserts using animal-free dairy protein will be available online on Nov. 27th and in stores on Dec. 1.

CINCINNATI – Graeter’s Ice Cream will begin offering vegan products later this month.

The Cincinnati-based ice cream maker has teamed up with food technology company Perfect Day to launch Perfect Indulgence, Graeter’s first-ever line of vegan frozen desserts using animal-free dairy protein.

The company will roll out new versions of six of its traditional flavors: Black Cherry Chocolate Chip, Cookies & Cream, Oregon Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate and Chocolate Chip.

These products will be available online on Nov. 27th and in stores on Dec. 1, the company announced Tuesday.

Graeter’s plans to release additional flavors, like Madagascar Vanilla Bean, in the future.

Graeter’s, America’s oldest family-owned craft ice-cream maker, is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.
