COLUMBUS – Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of a man whose body was found inside a burning Truro Township strip club in December.
Columbus homicide detectives filed an arrest warrant Thursday charging Nazeeh Yaktin, of Grove City, with murder in the death of Jonathan Pryor, 46, whose body was found inside the Columbus Confidential Gentlemen’s Club, 1962 Lake Club Drive, on the morning of Dec. 17 by Columbus firefighters who had been battling a blaze at the location.
Pryor was pronounced dead at the scene by Truro Township fire personnel and the Franklin County Coroner’s Office ruled Pryor’s death to be the 194th homicide of 2021 in Columbus.
Shortly after the warrant was filed, Grove City police officers arrested Yaktin, 39, at his residence on Heritage Glen Drive in Grove City, Sgt. James Marable of the homicide unit said.
