COLUMBUS – A Franklin County man has been indicted on more than a dozen felony charges, including involuntary manslaughter and human trafficking.
Authorities have charged Paul “Tommy Guns” Chiles with trafficking in persons, a number of prostitution- and drug-related offenses, and involuntary manslaughter in the death of Cecilia Riegel, a 21-year-old Columbus woman who died in April of an overdose of drugs provided by Chiles, Attorney General Dave Yost said.
In addition to human trafficking and manslaughter, Chiles, 36, is also charged with compelling prostitution, promoting prostitution, possession of cocaine, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, corrupting another with drugs, trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, aggravated trafficking in drugs, gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force.
Yost says Chiles is in the Franklin County Jail where he is being held on other charges.
