The hospital plans to focus on clinical care and research to ensure children are receiving the most advanced therapies possible for their conditions, including a new fetal medicine program to help infants who need treatment in the womb.

Planned new facilities will include a second 12-story inpatient hospital tower, a new orthopedics and surgery center and new research facilities.

The hospital will expand programs addressing inequities in health care through its Stand Against Racism and Stand for Health Equity plan to improve access to health care for children and families in underserved populations.

Partners For Kids will support care for children served by Medicaid in more than half of Ohio counties.

There are plans for further expansion in behavioral health research.
