Police: Body may be missing woman

WESTERVILLE – Westerville police reportedly believe dental records on a body found in a wooded area near County Line Road a week ago are consistent with a local woman missing since May.

A DNA test will confirm whether or not the body is Emily Noble, 52, who was last seen around 9:00 a.m. on May 25, the day after she and her husband celebrated her birthday, according to a report by WBNS 10-TV.

Westerville Police Chief Charles Chandler said teams previously searched the area in Noble’s disappearance by drones, bloodhounds and cadaver dogs, the television station reported.

Matheau Moore reported his wife missing from their home on Abbycross Lane where a neighbor reported seeing Emily between 08:00 and 09:00 a.m. in her garage, according to a case summary from the Westerville Police Department.

Moore said he and Emily collected spring water at Buchtel Spring Water in the early morning of May 24 and went out and celebrated her birthday in uptown Westerville that evening, police said.
