COLUMBUS – Police are investigating the drowning death of a 2-year-old boy as suspicious.
SUSPICIOUS DEATH INVESTIGATION:

They found 2yo Jamir Jones not breathing. Officers called for a medic & began CPR. He was pronounced deceased@2:45pm.

Officers responding to a reported drowning in a condominium in the 2275 block of Holt Avenue, on the Northeast Side, shortly after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday found Jamir Jones not breathing.
He was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m., Sgt. Eric Pilya of the Homicide Unit said.
No arrests were made but Pilya says detectives are investigating the death as suspicious.
