COLUMBUS – Police have released security camera video of a shooting inside an Arena District bar Sunday, which left four people injured, in hopes that a member of the public will provide some information that will lead to a suspect.

Anyone with info is asked to contact the Columbus police Assault Unit at 614-645-4141 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS.

Someone opened fire inside the Park Street Cantina, 491 Park Street, just before 6:45 p.m., causing patrons to take cover and flee.

When officers arrived, they found three people had been shot and a fourth victim came forward a few days later.

Markel Glenn, 20, was rushed into surgery at an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, Homicide Unit Sgt. David Shimberg said.

Jamaar King, 22, and 32-year-old Briana Hughes were also injured.

Officers attempted to get information from the victims but they had not seen the shooter.

Meanwhile, police have identified a 24-year-old man who was shot after he stole a woman’s car on the Northeast Side Saturday night.

Detectives say Preston Allman pulled a gun on a couple as they sat in a car in the parking lot of a carryout at 1462 Oakland Park Avenue shortly after 9:30 p.m. and was driving away in the 20-year-old woman’s car when she shot him and he crashed the car across the street, Sgt. James Marable of the Homicide Unit said.

Allen died later at Riverside Methodist Hospital, the 65th homicide victim of the year in Columbus.

Marable said the case is being turned over to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.

The names of the couple were not released.
