
COLUMBUS – Columbus police have identified a suspect out of a dozen persons of interest in a deadly shooting outside a Northeast Side convenience store last month.
Detectives have filed an arrest warrant charging Keimariyon Malachi Demetrish Ross, 18, with murder in the death of 21-year-old Kevin Sobnosky, reportedly during a shootout between groups of people near a Sheetz gas station in the 1400 block of North Cassady Avenue early in the morning on Oct. 30, Sgt. James Marable of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ross, whose last known address was on E. Maynard Avenue, is asked to contact police. at (614) 645-4730.
The investigation into Sobnosky’s death is ongoing and Marable says investigators anticipate filing additional charges.
Sobnosky and another man were driving in the area when their vehicle was struck by gunfire coming from the parking area of a local business. Sobnosky died later at the hospital.
