COLUMBUS – The “Spoilermakers” come to Columbus looking for another upset.
(5 CFP/6 AP) OHIO STATE (8-1, 6-0 Big Ten) vs. Purdue (6-3, 4-2)
Ohio Stadium; Sat., Nov. 13 (3:30 p.m./ABC)
Surging Purdue is embroiled four-way tie at the top of the Big Ten’s West Division with Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
Purdue is coming off an upset of Michigan State and has already beaten the Hawkeyes.
The Boilermakers are looking to become the first team since Illinois in 1959 to beat three top-10 opponents in the same season, but they are 20 1/2-point underdogs to the Buckeyes.
The last time the two teams met, the unranked Boilermakers upset the then-No. 2 Buckeyes at West Lafayette, dealing them their only loss in a 13-1 season and ultimately shutting them out of the College Football Playoff.
The 8-1 Buckeyes barely held on to beat unranked Nebraska last week.
