COLUMBUS – A 54-year-old woman was found shot to death at a Southeast Side home early Wednesday.
UPDATE 6/1/21 6:58 a.m.: Isaiah Daniels, 31, of Urbana, was charged with assault, domestic violence, burglary and murder in connection with this incident, police said.
Columbus Division of Fire personnel responding to a medical alert in the 1500 block of Omar Drive at 1:17 a.m. found Loise Tobe suffering from a gunshot wound, Sgt. Eric Pilya of the Homicide Unit said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
This was the 80th homicide of 2021 in Columbus.
