NASHVILLE – Cam Devanney homered to left field in the sixth inning Sunday afternoon to break a 6-6 tie and give the Nashville Sounds a 7-6 victory over the Clippers in the finale of a series at First Horizon Park.
Jhonkensy Noel put the Clippers in front, 6-5, with a three-run home run in the fifth before Skye Bolt tied it up with a leadoff homer off Hunter Gaddis (1-6) in the sixth.
Justin Wilson (1-0) got the win in the game, which was shortened to eight innings due to wet grounds after Saturday’s game was rained out.
Micah Pries also hit a home run for Columbus.
