OMAHA – The Omaha Storm Chasers batted around during a seven-run fourth inning on the way to handing the Clippers a 13-4 loss Saturday at Werner Park.
Matt Beaty and Tucker Bradley each scored a run and drove in two more during the big inning.
Nate Eaton hit a solo homer off Clippers starter Jhon Romero (2-3) in the first and added another in the third.
Jhonkensy Noel and Gonzalez hit home runs off Drew Parrish (4-2) but the Omaha bullpen stifled the Clippers offense, giving up one run over the final 2 1/3 innings.
Columbus has lost 10 straight and is winless on its current two-week road trip, which concludes Sunday afternoon.
