OMAHA – The Clippers fell to the Omaha Storm Chasers, 4-1, Friday night at Werner Park.
Kyle Isbel hit a solo home run in the first inning and added a two-run double in the second as the Storm Chasers jumped out to an early 4-0 lead.
Anthony Veneziano (3-0) pitched 6 1/3 shutout innings to send Columbus to its ninth straight loss.
Thomas Ponticelli (2-4) took the loss for the Clippers.
