COLUMBUS – Brewer Hicklen’s two-run single in the top of the ninth inning broke a 2-2 tie and the Omaha Storm Chasers held on to beat the Clippers, 5-2, Wednesday afternoon at Huntington Park.
After the Storm Chasers took the lead on a Cade Smith (2-1) wild pitch in the top of the eighth, Brayan Rocchio tied the score with a solo home run in the bottom of the inning.
Walter Pennington (5-0) got the win and Will Klein retired the side in the ninth for his second save of the season.
