DETROIT (AP) — Riley Greene hit a sixth-inning homer and Eduardo Rodriguez pitched eight scoreless innings, helping the Detroit Tigers beat the Guardians 1-0 Tuesday night to sweep a doubleheader.
Rodriguez allowed four hits, no walks and struck out 10 while matching the longest outing of his career.
Kerry Carpenter hit a solo home run with two outs in the ninth inning of the first game, lifting the Tigers to a 4-3 win.
The Tigers have won five straight, including three games with walk-off hits.
