COLUMBUS – Mansfield police say they have found a missing 6-year-old boy and his uncle.

Timothy Lee Whitt, 44, picked up his nephew, Zane Clay Wednesday morning, to spend some time with him, according to information on the Mansfield Division of Police social media sites.
The two were last seen leaving 117 Pleasant Avenue at approximately 9:00 a.m. Zane’s mother became concerned when they had not returned to her home by the evening.

Mansfield police checked numerous locations for Zane and his uncle, with the assistance of the Ohio Special Response Team, and activated the A Child Is Missing notification system but were unable to locate the two as of Thursday morning.
They are believed to be on foot.
