COLUMBUS- The Buckeyes secured the No. 6 seed in the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament presented by SoFi, March 4-8 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Ohio State (18-11, 11-7), which finished its regular season with a 77-56 victory on the road at Purdue Saturday, will play the winner of the March 4 game between 14th seed Penn State and No. 11 Minnesota on Thursday night.
Maryland (25-4, 16-2) is the tournament’s No. 1 seed for the year’s tournament after securing a share of the Big Ten Championship on Sunday with its 99-44 win at Minnesota. Northwestern (26-3, 16-2) is the No. 2 seed.
First round through semifinal games from Wednesday through Saturday will be broadcast on BTN, as well as on the FOX Sports app.
The championship game on Sunday will be televised live on ESPN2 and the ESPN app (8:00 p.m.).
