To celebrate the launch, Wendy’s is giving consumers a free Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit with purchase via the Wendy’s mobile app.
Not to be outdone, McDonald’s declared Monday National Egg McMuffin Day and offered customers who downloaded the company’s app and registered a free Egg McMuffin.
The company boasts that its breakfast offerings feature fresh, hand-cracked eggs on every sandwich, and Applewood smoked bacon baked each morning.
Some of the menu items include the Breakfast Baconator, an egg with six strips of bacon, one square breakfast sausage patty and two slices of American cheese topped with a swiss cheese sauce; the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, a buttermilk biscuit topped with crispy chicken breast with whipped honey butter; and, the Frosty-ccino, cold brew coffee with chocolate or vanilla Frosty creamer, served over ice.
Customers can also get their meals delivered to them via DoorDash or GrubHub.
