Central Ohio to host futuristic transit mode

Central Ohio residents are one step closer to a half-hour commute to Chicago after a proposal from Columbus was chosen as one of 10 winners of a global competition to create a high-speed transportation system for passengers and cargo within a ‘megaregion’ in the nation’s heartland.

Unemployment climbs to 5.4%

Ohio’s unemployment rate reached a three-year high in August of 5.4 percent, up from 5.2 percent in July as the number of unemployed Ohioans increased for the third straight month while the number of employed workers and the size of the labor force declined.

Officer suspended for body-cam comments
