Buckeyes No. 3 again in tight poll

Ohio State’s commanding 38-7 victory over then-13th ranked Wisconsin on Saturday was not enough to move the Buckeyes in the latest AP Top 25 college football poll.

The Browns turned the ball over on back-to-back-to-back plays in the first quarter, leading to a pair of Patriots touchdowns in a 27-13 loss to the defending Super Bowl champions.

The Los Angeles Rams beat the winless Bengals 24-10 to make for another successful trip to London.

Flyers 7, CBJ 4

Kevin Hayes scored the go-ahead short-handed goal late in Philadelphia’s five-goal third period, and the Flyers beat the Blue Jackets 7-4.

J.K. Dobbins slashed Wisconsin for big gains and two touchdowns and All-America defensive end Chase Young was nearly unblockable with four sacks as Ohio State romped to a 38-7 win.

Stun belt control falls in courthouse toilet

A Franklin County judge declared a mistrial after a deputy assigned to watch a defendant who was wearing a stun belt went to a restroom and accidentally dropped the belt’s control device in a toilet, causing shocks to the defendant.
