Hepatitis A confirmed in restaurant worker

Columbus Public Health is providing free hepatitis A vaccines to employees of an East Side restaurant and anyone who ate there earlier this month after confirming that a worker had contracted the disease.

Nursing facility neglect led to 1 death, 7 indicted

Six employees of a Columbus nursing facility and a contracted certified nurse practitioner have been indicted on charges, including involuntary manslaughter, for allegedly neglecting two patients under their care, one of whom died as a result of the neglect, according to Ohio attorney general David Yost whose office is prosecuting the case.
