Columbus City Council repeals mask mandate

Although the statewide requirement for Ohioans to wear facial coverings in public to slow the spread of the coronavirus was rescinded last Wednesday, a mask mandate was still in effect in the City of Columbus until Monday night when the City Council voted to remove it.

COVID-19 cases fall below 50/100K

The Ohio Department of Health reported the two-week statewide average of cases per 100,000 residents reached 49.5 between May 22 and June 4, DeWine announced Saturday.
