Former Ohio health director Dr. Amy Acton, who at one time had her own large fan club but also faced armed protesters outside her Bexley home, is leaving the DeWine administration to return to the Columbus Foundation.

DeWine not considering closing schools

Gov. Mike DeWine says he is not contemplating closing Ohio’s schools but kids in kindergarten through high school will be required to wear masks if they return to classrooms to give schools a “fighting chance” at staving off the coronavirus.

Another night of deadly violence

A troubling rash of gun violence continued overnight in Columbus with at least four shootings that left a man dead in the Driving Park area and others that involved several children, including a 1-year-old was hit by broken glass when someone opened fire at a convenience store.
